I’m in the process of opening a small boutique coffee shop in East London, and the budget is getting incredibly tight. The space used to be an old workshop, so it has high ceilings and exposed brick, but the wooden beams and metal supports are covered in layers of peeling industrial paint. I want to give it a "polished industrial" look, but I’m torn between trying to do the painting myself to save cash or hiring a crew to ensure the finish doesn't look cheap. Has anyone found a balance between cost-effectiveness and professional quality for a small business?
